When our brewers were experimenting with variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in fermenter number seven. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a big surge of fruity aromatics and grapefruit-hoppy notes, the flavor of this complex, straw-colored ale tapers off to a peppery, dry finish.

Two years ago, we had the unique opportunity to contract a single plot of an experimental hop variety known only as HBC 692. This batch of hops was recently harvested, and we’re proud to share 692’s unique qualities with you in this fourth Crooked Line release based on a New England- style hazy IPA. The hop variety presents outstanding aroma and flavor, with tropical and citrus notes in the fore to punctuate the smooth creaminess of the body
